I think Rachel should have followed her instincts when she said something like "I usually don't post corrections of the comments of guest after the fact because its not really fair". Friday's debate was obviously meant to be a free-wheeling exchange (which was why it was kind of interesting) and not meant to be spot-on accurate. Each party, speaking off-the-cuff, gave the general tenor of their side's argument. If they had to spend time sourcing every statement they said nobody would have watched. I think this shows just what a touchy subject race is.
@trey So you're saying in a debate, it's okay to lie? It's okay to make things up and just hope that no one checks the facts? That kind of thinking is what's wrong with politics these days...
